Indigenous Lead Facilitation

MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS

PURPOSE

Our purpose is to build a greater understanding of the physical, sacred and spiritual connections of land, people and culture, to assist the expansion of human consciousness surrounding the spiritual value of sacred lands and people for healing, belonging and identity.

Values

We are driven by the timeless values of:

Respect

respect to oneself first and foremost, and to everything else both living and sacred

Gratitude

for all everything before us, currently with us and which we pave a better path for all to come after us,

Integrity

honesty and upholding strong moral principles leads to ethical leadership in all departments of life

Sacredness

sacred lands, values and beliefs are priceless and timeless and provide the world with tried and proven sustainability in all realms of life.

Wisdom

wisdom, like money it is worthless when kept to oneself and can only bring true value when circulated and returning like a thrown boomerang with tenfold the power in which it left our hands,

Open mindedness

Our way is not the only way, where deep listening and learning from each other, the land and all which is living is key to expansion of our mind, body and spirit.

What we do

Training and workshop

Aboriginal perspectives in facilitation and community engagement. The basics of facilitation and engagement processes for those working online and face to face. The deeper spiritual understanding of Indigenous connection to country. Awareness of coloniser culture and the impact on Indigenous Australians.

Reconciliation Actions Plans (RAP’s)

Supporting organisations with their RAP development including supporting the development of RAP working groups, identifying and engaging key stakeholders and providing staff with coaching and mentoring in the field of Indigenous cross-cultural learning and understanding.

Connection with Country

Facilitating awareness in the process of moving from a human-centred approach to a Country-centred approach for a more sustainable environment. Connection with Country is about understanding that we are not separate from the environment in which we live but are one of the many components which make up the ecosystem. When this ecosystem is out of balance the result is unhealthy Country. Connection with Country is understanding that as humans we have been the key result of an unhealthy and unbalanced ecosystem. We need to understand that only way to alter this is by reconnecting with Country and its ancient stories.

Vision

To help create a world of shared understanding and connections through meaningful focused conversations
